Favourite Doughnut: Original Glazed
Simon joined Krispy Kreme in May 2009 and is the operations manager for the Manchester region. He came to Krispy Kreme after 20 years in the car rental business looking for a new challenge and his first one was to learn how the famous 270 doughnut machine works. This machine can make over 3,000 doughnuts per hour. He describes his role as similar to the conductor of an orchestra – he makes sure everything is in tune and what surprised him the most was how complex and diverse the job could be. Simon says that if you want to join a company where your destiny is in your hands then Krispy Kreme is the place to be.
